Prospective Postdoctoral Researchers:

Postdoctoral positions are available at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research (IBBR).  IBBR is a joint research institute between the University of Maryland and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  IBBR is located in Rockville, Maryland, in close proximity to multiple pharma/biotech companies as well as the FDA, NIH and USP.  The trainees will work closely with researchers from the University of Maryland and NIST. There are also opportunities to work with scientists from industry.  The projects apply biophysical techniques to characterize biologics, such as vaccines, therapeutic proteins and gene therapy products.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biophysics, biochemistry, physical chemistry or related fields.  Background in NMR spectroscopy is highly desirable. Send applications to Prof. Bruce Yu at byu@rx.umaryland.edu
