Dr. Morgan is involved in a number of innovative clinical practice initiatives:
University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC)
President’s Interdisciplinary GI Clinic
2010 – Present
The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is an innovative teaching hospital in Baltimore that provides a full range of health services to people throughout Maryland and the mid-Atlantic region. It is a national and regional referral center for trauma, cancer care, cardiac care, neurocare, women’s and children’s health, and organ transplantation. Established in 1823, UMMC is one of the nation’s first teaching hospitals.
Dr. Morgan provides service one-half day a week to patients in the President’s Interdisciplinary Gastrointestinal Clinic. Contributions include: participating in interdisciplinary patient visits, obtaining medication histories, recommending changes in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic regimens when appropriate, providing education to parents and patients about medications, and assisting with medication follow-up. Additionally, she has provided patient education materials for general clinic use and responds to drug information questions.
This clinic is also a rotation site for Pediatric Pharmacy Residents and Students at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
Children’s Hospital Intestinal Rehabilitation Program (CHIRP)
2010 – 2017
Dr. Morgan provides service to patients in the CHIP Clinic. Contributions include: participating in interdisciplinary patient visits with Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric GI, obtaining medication histories, recommending changes in total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic regimens when appropriate, providing education to parents and patients about their treatment plans. Additionally, she manages the TPNs for these children at home weekly.

Pediatrics at Midtown Clinic
2001 – 2015

Recognized statewide and regionally as a center of excellence for children with critical illnesses and complex, chronic conditions, UMCH combines state-of-the-art medicine with family-centered care.
Dr. Morgan provides service one-half day a week to patients in the Pediatrics at the Harbor Clinic. Contributions include: attending and participating in patient visits, obtaining medication histories, recommending changes in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic regimens when appropriate, providing education to parents and patients about medications, and assisting with medication refills and follow-up. Additionally, she has provided patient education materials for general clinic use and responds to drug information questions.
This clinic is also a rotation site for Pediatric Pharmacy Residents and Students at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
