Dr. Kathleen Pincus is an associate professor in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
About Dr. Pincus:
Kathleen Pincus, PharmD, BCPS, is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy and Ambulatory Care Specialist, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and an associate professor in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR) at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program. An alumna of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (’09), Dr. Pincus completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and her Pharmacotherapy Specialty Residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Dr. Pincus practices as an ambulatory care specialist at the University of Maryland Family and Community Medicine practice.
Research Interests:
Dr. Pincus’ research interests include transitions of care, integrating clinical pharmacy services in primary care practices, patient motivators for medication adherence and chronic disease state management, including: asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and hepatitis C.
